had mine since 91 and i listen to it alot, works great knock on wood

bought a sa-gx100 used in 2005 and it has been trouble free.I agree about the volume control being a little warm to handle,otherwise it is a great receiver

Got this Receiver on ebay, bought 3 of them because each unit was defektive. Volume and Bass/Treble pots didn't work properly, display burned out, hard to read, tuner section all out of alignment. 20 year old units aren't worth the money, PANASONIC Service has no longer spare parts. Save your mony for units that work, but not for this type of "HiFi"-Receiver!
