The Yamaha STR-5590 receiver is awesome! I upgraded from an entry level Yamaha and the difference is incredible. I love the neo 6 feature with my CDs. The sound is decoded into the 6 channels but retains the stereo separation very well. The addition of the rear center speaker really picks up the sound in the listening area. This was well worth the money to move up to a quality 6:1 receiver. The DTS ES mode for encoded movies is unreal.
