Strength:
Fast,tight, and articulate bass.
Weakness:
zilch Great sub cable. Previously had used Monster cable and Audioquest Copperhead. Monster sounded muddy and boomy. Audioquest was slightly cleaner but laid back. It lacked punch. Analysis Plus sub cable was a dramatic improvement over these cables.Tight and articulate bass. Needs a week or so to break in but so do all cables for that matter. This is easily the best sub cable for the budget minded audiophile. Similar Products Used: Monster cable bass somethinarather Audioquest copperhead |

Strength:
Everything about them.
Weakness:
Takes a couple of weeks to break in. I was already using the Oval 12's bi-wired to Paradigm 60.2v and center channel and I liked them alot. I also have a Paradigm pw-2200 subwoofer that was hooked up by Monster cables 201 sub cable. Upgraded the sub cable to the 13 feet of Analysis Plus Oval Subwoofer Interconnects and will never look back. They add so much to music and movies. deep, tight and very accurate something I was totally missing with the monster cable. |

Strength:
Deep bass that is not bloated sounding and has discernable differences in notes. Several of the other cables I have used do not have these qualities. Good value for the price.
Weakness:
None I have noticed. Have tried a few of the traditional sub cable choices from Monster Cable and Audioquest, but always felt the bass was bloated or not as deep as I desired. The Analysis Plus cable solved both of these problems. Similar Products Used: Monster Cable And Audioquest. |

Strength:
Good, solid quality, reasonably priced, and built by a very good cable company.
Weakness:
none After thinking long and hard about finally upgrading my systems cables ( hard to spend all that money on cables...)I took the plunge. I am impressed with the Analysis Plus cables design and looks. But after a good breaking in period, I was REALLY impressed with their sound. Cables are so hard to describe....smooth, flat, thin, whatever...all I know is that these cables made my speakers sound like never before. They actually seemed to "improve" my speakers! I was also impressed with their customer service...very helpful! A great product at a great price from a great company. What more could you ask for? Similar Products Used: Monster Cable |

This made my Velodyne CT100 perform the best it could. Bass is defined for music playback and has the punch for movie soundtracks. Similar Products Used: Monster Cable |

Strength:
Excellent for Video Sources as well as Subwoofer setups
Weakness:
zero I used this cable with my sub for a month and decided to sell the sub. The cable made a dramatic difference versus the Monster cable. I kept the Analysis Plus sub cable and decided to try it on my DVD player. I had heard that you could use Video cables for subwoofers so I thought the sub cable would work with the DVD. I had been using Monster Video 3. The AP cable was definitely better. The colors look more natural and the picture is clearer with better detail. If you have sold your sub and still have the cable you might try this cable for you video and see if you get the same results. Hope this helps. Similar Products Used: Monster and Tara RSC |

Strength:
Adds weight to the sub's performance without losing control. Build quality is excellent.
Weakness:
None Purchased this 3.5 metre cable from Audio Advisor to connect LFE output from a Denon 3300 HT receiver to an Audio Pro B2.27 subwoofer. The Audio Pro sub is known to be a fast, tight performer that sounds bigger than its physical size would suggest and is equally happy with music and movies. Had previously tried various interconnects and settled on Audioquest Topaz some months ago. I was reasonably pleased with this setup, although there was sometimes a slight lack of 'punch' with movie soundtracks. Straight out of the box, the Analysis Plus cable did little other than make the whole setup sound 'cleaner'. However, after around 5 days constant usage, performance improved significantly. The sub now sounds 'weightier' and has the punch that was previously missing. This has been achieved without sacrificing the tight, clean, controlled performance of the Audio Pro, and if anything, has even added to overall impression that the sub is an extremely refined performer. Strength:
Well-designed, nice look, bass sounds tighter, well-defined, "in-control".
Weakness:
Are you kidding? I previosly used RCA inteconnects for my HSU Reasearch VTF-2 sub and felt the bass sounded bloated and out of control at times, especially on the "32Hz and above" range. After the RCA''s, I upgraded to the Monster sub cable. The Monster sub cable made a small improvement, but I still felt the bass sounded a bit exagerated. That''s when I decided to give the Oval Sub cable from Analysis Plus a try. The difference was noticeable immediately, right out of the box. The bass is not only tighter, much better defined; but also "in-control", like is not going all over the place. Analysis Plus did it again. I highly recommend any serious audio enthusiast to give this cable a listen. You won''t find better performance for such low cost anywhere. You wont believe your ears!!! Strength:
Delivers the bass accurately and forcefully with good control
Weakness:
none that i noticed I purchased this cable from Audio Advisor to replace the Audio Quest Copperhead cable that I was previously using. I had gone through 3 cables before I found this one. The Monster cable I thought gave powerful bass but at time during big movie scenes it seemed out of control. I switched to the Bettercable inerconnect and I thought it brought more control and made my sub more articulate but I also thought the sound got a little leaner and it lacked the punch the Monster cable could deliver. The Audioquest cable was more bahaved and gave the some of the punch that the Monster delivered but I thought I could do better. That is where the Analysis Plus cable came in. I thought it gave me all of the benefits that the other cables could give. The punch of the Monster, to go along witht he accuracy of the Bettercable and the all around build quality of the AQ. Strength:
Tight, clean, accurate bass with no boom or exaggerated
Weakness:
none noticed I had previously used Monster Subwoofer Cable and it seemed to have exaggerated bass which over time became annoying and I knew this could not be the natural timbre of the recording. After switching to the Analysis Plus cable I noticed the bass becoming much more articulate and more pleasing to listen too. I feel the bass is tighter and maybe a little deeper. The cable does require a week of break-in to obtain the full results. No complaints here. Thanks Again to A.P. for another awesome cable!!!
