Strength:
Plush, warm, quiet cable.
Weakness:
These are not neutral cables, the high frequencies are rolled off. Overpriced. Easily damaged outer sheath. I connected my Yamaha CD player to my Onkyo Amplifier for 300 hours straight to burn these cables in. I played a CD designed for this purpose on repeat during this time. Every few days I checked the sound and after about 100 hours the sound stabilized. I had previously used a generic Radio Shack interconnect and then "upgraded" to Monster THX, which was far from a neutral cable. The AQ was recommended by a friend who thought that my bright sounding system would benefit from the warm sound of AQ. He was absolutely right. Unfortunately, the warm, plush sound of AQ never opened up in the treble frequency. They take the idea of smoothing things out too far. It sounded lovely on recording that didn't rely on the treble range too much, but when it came to a solo piano, the tone was clearly muffled, rolled off highs. I called AQ who swore up and down that the cable is neutral, that this muffled sound was coming from my components. So, I went out and bought a Nordost Blue Heaven Interconnect, as they are known for being incredibly neutral, even to a fault. Sure enough, I got a bright, fatiguing sound. So I can only conclude that the AQ is absolutely not a neutral cable. Rather it's an IC that may work well on the brightest systems only. I cannot recommend this product to be honest. In fact, I went back to my old Radio Shack "plain vanilla" Interconnect and the sound is better overall than Monster, Audioquest or Nordost - for my system. The harshness is gone, the bell like tone on the piano is back. It's not perfect, but I can live with it. I honestly could not live with the AQ Copperheads. Customer Service The Customer Service was efficient, I just wish they were more honest about their product. These are NOT neutral cables. Strength:
More detail, better response. I purchased 3 meter pairs to connect with two monoblock amps for my rear channels in a Home Theater 5.1 setup. I immediately noticed that I was able to hear more detail. It also seems that I am getting more sound from these speakers thereby making the surround experience more enjoyable. Similar Products Used: Other brand 3 metter RCA cables |

Sounded good for awhile, but honestly not a whole lot better than my budget Monster interconnects.
Weakness:
load hum! Like a few other reviews, one of my cables has developed an irritating intermittent hum.

Strength:
Didn't sound bad at first.
Weakness:
Became useless and annoying in very short order. I purchased two sets of these cables and both of them developed very irritating hums. I moved them around, swapped them out, swapped them in and in each case one of the cables became a hummer. What the hell? How does a interconnect go bad? |

Strength:
It pays to look through the discount bin!
Weakness:
Not the most spectacular sound, but what do you expect to find for this price? I picked up 3 pairs of these babies out of the 50% discount bin. I wanted these so I could hook up 5.1 from my SACD player to my pre-amp. Sounds seems OK, nothing spectaular, but hey the price was right! Perfect Cables Awesome Best for the Price
Weakness:
None I purchased these interconnects for my Integrated Amp and CD Player. All I can say that these cables for the price are amazing in performance and looks. My system has changed so much after getting the Copperhead for my Amp and the Sidewinder for my subwoofer. Amazing Cables Similar Products Used: Monster |

Strength:
smooth presentation across the board non-fatiguing well-extended treble and tight, well-defined bass
Weakness:
none at this price range The Copperhead is a great interconnect. It does what it is supposed to do - convey a smooth, detailed signal. My music comes through with a relaxed, non-fatiguing sound. Detail, clarity, midrange (they are all present and accounted for). This is a cable I will keep as part of my system for a long while. Strength:
Transparency Grainless highs Solid, deep bass Good "Bang-to-buck" ratio
Weakness:
None. I purchased the Copperheads as a step up from my Sidewinders. I've tried several different brands of IC's and always come back to Audioquest. The Copperheads provide a little more of what makes the Sidewinder so nice; crystal clear highs void of any smearing or grain, neutral mid-range, and solid deep bass response. A very natural sounding cable that just passes the signal unadulterated. I've learned my lesson, and these will be my last set of interconnects.
