Doug himself makes these cables over at HTguide.com. I have ordered 2 sets of his Kingcats RCA (the picture is showing his Silvercat series). First thing you will notice is how well built the product is, it has a very good solid feel. Much better that of other cables from Kimber or Transparent in its league. For the sound, the most noticeable is separation, air, and soundstage. The highs are lifted to give better clarity but not in anyway distasteful. I have these running on B&W 705, so if anyone knows, these can sound harsh on the highs, but with these cables, it helps them sound more airy and smooth, and less etched. To me, these are big benefits to my solid state amp which doesn't have tube like features. Some would argue that cables have no effect whatsoever on sound, but I believe a well built cable do in fact have a better effect overall. LIke arguing a CD player used as a transport through a DAC which I agree does make a difference in sonics.
