I borrowed KS 1011 from a friend and i really impressed, however it no longer available in my local market. so i bought KS-1021 secondhand. It's even much better result. I use Nordost Red dawn from my 'burmester' DAC to 'Goldmund' preamp. Kimber KS-1021 is from preamp to 'Audio Research' power amplifier. Loudspeaker is Vienna acoustic, with Siltech classic anniversary cable speaker. I also use that system as Front stage for my home theater system. really enjoy it!! for centre and surround, i use CARY cinema 7 multichannel power - tight and detail Bass - natural and focus on vocal. so emotional - natural but extended high (not bright kinda type) - clear detail with precision time attack - soundstage is wide and depth - no ear fatigue even you're not using any tube equipment Never thought that a pair of RCA cable could bring my system much better, it's just like you have a good manager in your company that can manage your salesman, engineer, accounting, finance, even office boy so damn well. you may sit, relax and enjoy happily ever after.
