This is a review for Audioquest GBC
it is a 6 conductor (bi or tri wireable cable)
it has long grain copper, and can be placed inbetween the
audioquest Type 4 and Type 6 cables.

at 1.49 per foot there is no weekness.
actually up to $5.00 per foot I think you'll be pressed even with the local A/V expert store's equip.

I have mostly heard cable comparisons at local audiophile stores. It was hard for me to tell the difference, and since my home systems (A/V and stereo setup) were under 3k each I didn't think this will make a difference. I went with a reasonable choice for the very low end (14 guage laserland cable, when I thought that size mattered...).
The GBC changed things, especially with my stereo equip.
I have a Marantz high end cd player, a B&K pre, and a B&K st140 amp, with nht 2.5i speakers.
I was happy with my setup before, but the new cables made a difference, I bi-wired and the soundstage just became clearer and wider. I put my reference cd in and heard the sections in a much clear 3-d positioning. The bass was tighter as well. "weaknesses" I blamed on the softness of the marantz cd player are simply gone.
This wasn't an overwhelming difference I admit, but it was worth the $40 I spent.

This is a budget bi-wire cable which has a very neutral & flat charateristic. It has 4 smaller wire which has indication for treble/bass output. The mid/high range has a very detail presentation,clear and crisp but strungle when comes to lower/bass frequency. But for a bi-wire cable at this price, it is an excellent entry to bi-wire connection & I will recommend it for a try & later if you decided to upgrade to a higher range, you could still use the GLC cable for rear speaker connection!!!
