I've had these cables for about 9 months now and have sort of mixed review. I compared them too two different cables. One being the basic freebee's you always get. The Jades did sound much better than them. Also I tried some Straight Wire Chorous II ( I think) and found the jades more pleasing here too.
The Str. Wire seemed to roll off the upper end a bit too much.
As far a build quality, I am kinda ticked off. I have had three Jade cables get shorts in them so far. Yesterday I plugged my Jades in to my amps and turned them on and a horendous buzzing came out of my speakers. A quick jiggle of the wires show a short in the cable. Little did I know, that horendous buzz had just fried my tweeters in my front speakers. I'm not too happy. I bought the Jades because, even if I here no audible difference, the quality shoud last for a long time. Boy was I wrong. Granted I unplugg my cables quite frequently but this should not have happened.

Strength:

Good allround performance

Weakness:

build quality

I agree with thee people who've commented on the lack of build quality in these cables. I'm currently using them on my Technics turntable and every once in while on channel falls out out and I have to push them back into place.

Sonically though, I think they are very good cables if you are using them on a budget system. They are good allround performers and gives good bass weight but still pretty neutral sounding. I don't think I'd use them on more sophisticated equipment though.
But still if you're on the lookout for an inexpensive cable which performs well, check these out!

Strength:

Quite inexpensive.

Weakness:

Too much high frequency. The sound is not balanced. Does not produce enough soundstage.

I got these interconnects because of price. I can't be dissappointed for this price. However, I did myself DIY interconnects using Jon Risch receipe. Now, I experience much more balanced sound, less high frequency, and huge soundstage. Thanks Jon. This guy really knows the stuff. Some poeple critize him (only those who never tried - proud, arrogant and ignorant - big mouths without nothing to support it). Solution: Use teflon insulated copper wires (Belden), Kester solder and good gold plated rca plugs. This is the best and cheapest solutions. Btw, I use Jade on my tape deck (2-3 hours / month). DIY cable works (150h/month).
