Didn't give me what I expected in sound quality

If you look under the BC interonnects, you will see a complete review involving both the interconnects and BiWired pairs of the speaker cable.

Summed up,I wanted to like these cables for the same reasons that others did- they would allow me to purchase high quality connections with minimal BS, and cost.
Unfortunately, they did not suit my system's sonics.

However, I can't say enough good things about the company and Brad Marcus- Excellent customer service, and for those looking at low to middle priced Monster and the like, a very good prouct that is worth an audition.

Again, you can see my review in the interconnects section.

I bought these cables after reading many good reviews on Audio Review. The clincher for me was the money back guarantee, but I don't think these cables will be going back. They sound great, and have a substantial heft an feel to them that lets you know they are quality cables. And they are cheap! I paid $160 for a pair of 16 ft cables! Try to get prices like that with other audiophile-grade cables. I'd recommend www.bettercables.com in an instant.

I have to hand it to Brad, he makes an amazing cable. If the weight doesn't impress you, the sound will. I thought I was hearing high frequencies when I listen to music or movies with the Monster, but I was wrong. After I put the BetterCables, it was a whole new sound. Now I could hear each crash of the symbols and the shattering of glass. I was truely amazed. Moving down to the mids, they also improved. They seemed to have become more smooth and detailed. I ran the speakers full-range for testing(normally they are not, I have a THX receiver). The bass may not have been as in your face, but it was without a doubt more defined. In my opinion, it's a plus. The only thing I can remotely complain about is the wait to get them. I took about a week from order to arrival with UPS 2-day shipping. I really didn't mind the wait because of the quality of the product. In my opinion, these cables are an essential to anyone's system. And Brad, if you read this, I'll be back for more.

This is the second speaker cable I've auditioned in my new system (B&W Nautilus 804, REL Storm III, Marnatz SR-18). I'm skeptical about the benefits of expensive cables so given the price, I was hoping this cable would sound great and I could stop auditioning cables. Unfortunately, I don't think these cables are going to do...

I have been using cheap Radio Shack speaker wire to bire the N804s as an interim soulution while I audition cables. These cheap cables are not very detailed and pretty bright but for the price they do fine.

I noticed a marked improvement when I auditoned the Tara Labs in low-end clarity and detail. Unfortunately, the mids & highs were too laid back for me.

With the Better Cables, the opposite was true. I noticed improved clarity and detail in the mids & highs which was great but the bass DISSAPEARED, noticiably reducing the overall soundstage. I think my N804s are lacking in lowend which is why I bought the sub but when auditioning speaker cables, I turn the sub off and judge cables w/just the N804s. Without a doubt, these cables had less low-end than either the Tara Labs or the cheap Radio Shack cables.

I hope they open up through increased use but at this point, I give these a 3 stars overall and 4 stars for value.

In my search for cables, I plan to audition these against
Analysis Plus Oval 9, Goertz MI-2 and Nordost Blue Heavens. Granted these are not all in the same price category but they all seem to be rated as good values for their price...

I'm looking forward to see who the winner will be.

After reading the review of these cables on the AUdio Spotlight section of this web sire, I decided I'd give these wires a try since they had the money back guarantee and all...I figured even if by some chance they sucked completey, I could just send them back. I previously had monster cable, and previous to that I had straight wire...BIG difference! I noticed an immidiate drop in background hiss/noise and a distictinct improvement in overall sound. Best of all my girlfriend doesnt think they are ugly...BIG BONUS! The build quality on these suckers is fantastic and the woven covers on the wires make them look fantastic. I guess I have audioreview.com to thank for putting me on to such a great deal. I probably would have pent alot more money on wires if i hadnt read that article.

The build quality is excellent. Based on weight alone these cables are worth every penny. But when you connect them you can hear the difference. Right after installing them, my wife asked if I turned up the volume? Much better defined mid-range vs other cables that I've tried.

Uh,you certainly could spend more for bragging rights!!

Would not have written about this cable except for what I recently discoverd... I bot the Bettercalble to replace my center channel cable on my theater surround system. Denon equipment/AR speakers. Anyway, I have always loved "Remember The Titans", especially the stadium sceens, with such a surround effect. But all of a sudden, surround stadium sound seemed missing after intallation of new cables...

Well, it took me a while to realize that the Bettercables were so good that upon install, the stadium scenes were not as surrounding as I had remembered. Why? Because the center channel, with new Bettercables was so clean and improved that it overpowered the surrounds. Wow, cool! So increased input to all other speakers to compensate for Bettercables.... Way too cool!! Enough said.... Mike

The various reviews convince me to give it a try.The web site is user friendly and the people very,VERY,reactive to the customers!!!The get back to you asap and tell you when you may expected your purchase;they also give you the tracking# with UPS without having to ask.The cables, for the price, are a Best Buy.You have maybe read reviews suggesting that the reviews about these cables are from related people;it is not my case.I read such comments after my purchase and I feel a little bit afraid to get f...It is not the case,I love my cables. My system:
Conrad Johnson pv10a preamp
ODL HT2 power amp
Martin Logan Aerius i
Madrigal cd transport
MIT 350+ interconnects
Sennh.580 headphones+Sennh. headphones amp.

Give those cables a try,you will like them & for the price you cannot go wrong with them.

I received them just a day ago... Since they are bi-wires I wanted to make sure they were connected properly. Some bi-wires have their high and low sets marked. I called the company and within 30 minutes, Brad Marcus called me back to explain the setup....

I am using them for my front mains since I primarily listen to two channel staereo.

I have a B&K AVR 200 Integ AMP
Sonus Farber Concertos

and now the Better Cables....

I just ordered some Better Cable S-Video and Coax....!!!!!

I used the following CDs to audition the cables.....
Eva Cassidy... Patricia Barber... Craig Chaquico....palpable female voice on Eva cassidy along with a "su-real" acousitc guitar!!!!! These cables are great
