The Fantastic cable, like the Tara Labs, are made from alloy, not pure copper and silver. The power cable aims at the high-end market of NBS, with which it has attained some level of success. It resolution is better than the NBS Professional, and most important, its high and treble are much more extended. The bass, even compared with that of NBS, is authorative and has both quality and quantity. I heard that upcoming the Fantastic has a power cord made of platinum and is extremely good. Anyway, the alloy sound is in between that of copper and silver. On the other hand, the digital cable is really not up to the standard. It sounds mechanical, and does not have the charming middel vocal frequencies provided by NBS. I suspect that alloy, or any medium of connection, which is not pure will not be good. This may have to do with the out of phase issue.
