Weakness:
Maybe price, but none sonically. Purchased the premium silver spades on amp ends, premium bananas on speaker ends; all WBT at additional cost. but installed by Kimber. These may be the best speaker cables I've listened through. Simply put, I'm listening to music not cables. The fabulous transparency of these cables was evident from the beginning, but after several years the richness has only improved. Not by leaps and bounds, but still noticable. I am totally satisfied with these cables. I would recommend these cables hiighly. My search for THE speaker cable for my system has ended. Give them a listen. Strength:
Superior Geometry, WBT termination Just like when you buy a new massive power amp, this is one of those special products that impresses you with its "hefty" design. The sonic performance is equally impressive. Very good separation between the highs and lows, with extremely tight and dynamic bass. Silence is truly silent. RSC has a tendency to sound very smooth and rich, but that is often an incorrect coloration - not so with the Kimber. The WBT terminations are an added bonus! Silver spade lugs (optional) and self-locking bananas provide extremely secure connections. Similar Products Used: Tara Labs RSC |

Strength:
dynamic headroom, build quality, wide deep soundstage, lets the bass naturally pour forth
Weakness:
looks like mains cable supplying a street - maybe it can? Makes nordost flatline sound quite compressed & bass light with my ProAc 2.5's. All audiophile attributes in place, as said in stereophile. Several high quality WBT terminations available - I chose standard bimetallic spades. Similar Products Used: Kimber KS3033,KS3035,Nordost flatline |

Strength:
Strong in all areas.
Weakness:
Expensive when converted to European currencies. This is a biwire cable specifically designed to connect a power amp with one pair of binding posts to speakers with two pairs. This is, amazingly, a rare solution to a problem that must affect thousands of others like me. I tried other alternatives such two runs of cable paired into one, connecting clips and crossovers, but found them to be a major compromise in terms of performance. In some cases they were close to useless. Sound wise, this cable is strong in all areas presenting the music with all audiophile attributes in place, with the soundstage clear and dynamic at all frequencies. They are not cheap, but it took me a long time to realise that cables are components and that your system is only as strong as its weakest link. If you have audiophile aspirations and you do not realise this, you are living in a dream world. Kimber treat their designs in this way so that when you buy them you have taken another step towards the summit. I have no regrets in buying these cables, I just wish I have done it earlier.
