I just recently purchased a pair of these cables on sale for 49 bucks, which is pretty reasonable I think considering I spent over ten times the amount for a pair of MIT 750 Bire wires. I purchsed this set to Bi-Wire my B&W center speaker to match my left and rights. I did not want to spend 200, or 400 some odd dollars for a singal patch of the 750's or Terminator2's. My local shop offered me a pair of the T6's for 50 bucks. Come on, at 50 bucks it was worth a shot. So I bought a set of spade terminators, and banana's and connected the spades to the amp, and both sets into HF and LF terminals on my center speaker. I have to say that for fifty bucks these things rock. They have Greatly extended the bass and clarity of the speaker, and helped match the tones of the Left and Right with the center. I definalty give these cables 5 starts for their value at 50 bucks. Sure they are not the 750's but they defiently pack a wallop for the buck.

Strength:

tight bass, price, the "box" thing

Weakness:

none

After reading lots of reviews on cables, I chose 2 10' mono Terminator 6 interconnects for my subwoofer for $30 each. For such a modest price, I was doubting whether I'd hear much of a difference.

All I can say is, "WOW!!!" These cables totally changed the sound of my subwoofer and gave it some manners. Regardless of the breakin period, I immediately noticed a huge increase in the tightness of the bass. I wouldn't say the cable gave me more bass, just better bass (and this was before the breakin period was complete!). Instead of hitting a muddy note, the sub lands precisely on the note. Better focus, as the product info says.

I also tried these cables on my father's system. He's a doubter of high end cables, and even he immediately noticed a difference. He said he noticed the bass was tighter and had more weight. It also gave a noticable increase in the quantity of bass (granted this was after the breakin period).

To conclude, if you're looking for an inexpensive cable or upgrade your subwoofer, BUY THIS CABLE. You can't go wrong for $30. 5+ stars!

Up until quite recently, I had been running my Denon CD player and amplifier into my Mirage 1295is bipolar loudspeakers using fairly generic cable. Some well insulated and gold-terminated Acoustic Research RCA's and some generic oxygen free 12 guage copper speaker cable, specifically. To put it bluntly, I had been deaf to the potential latent in my existing components. These Music Interface (MI) products are like a revelation -- and I only bought their smallest set! (Rumor has it they make a $10,000 cable set, but I'm pretty astounded with the difference my $50 made) Accept no imitations, these cables boom out the bass louder and cleaner, focus the image better in the mids and high and enhanced overall the listening experience. Next thing to try is their speaker cable. I'll get back to you.

Recently purchased MIT Terominator 6's. They are great cables for the price. Great mid's any treble with well contolled bass. A heck of a value. They clearly our perform the Kimber's I was using at less than 1/2 the price.

Hi Don:If you think about buying the MOT 6 speakercable : I bought two pair of MIT 6
to biwire my Lambda Robijn speakers (something my retailer adviced me to
do instaed of buying the much more expensipe MIT 2 Biwire speakercable).
The other parts of my system : Densen Beat B-100 and Marantz CD 17,
connected with MIT 3 Interconnectors. The result is astonishing :
Absolutely grain-free highs, sharp focus and better controlled bass.
Absolutely great !

I paid $110 for a pair of 15 foot terminator 6s with the gold bannana connectors. These are definately worth the money and sound awesome.

Purchased a pair of 10' speaker cables on closeout from Crutchfield for only $30, and 8 gold plated banana plugs from a local retailer for another $25. For the $55 I spent, the sound quality improvement is nothing short of astounding--grain-free highs, better imaging, and dramatically improved bass response. I used to think cables didn't matter; MIT made me a believer.

These cables are quite a good bargain, although it is important to break them in to really maximize their performance. The bass noticably tightens up, and more of a sense of space is created. The best sub $200 cables I've heard, including the Monster Z-series, Kimber 4VS, Clara Labs, etc. I'm sorry that people like vincent skew the ratings of a product they've never heard to voice their ignorant opinions. Although these cables are cumbersome with those boxes on them, sonically they are worth more then any cosmetic disagreement.

Weakness:

Harsh, fatiguing sound

I just upgraded all my electronics (I now have a Denon single CD player and a HK 3270 audio-only receiver to go with Mission 751 speakers I had before) and I was delighted at the improvement!

Flushed with success, I decided to upgrade cheapie connectors (came free with old CD player) between CD and reciever. I tried the MIT Terminator 6 1m interconnects instead, and I wasn't impressed at all.

Compared to the cheap interconnects I was using before, I heard less bass detail and an overall sound that was harsh in a subtle way. I could listen to my system with the old cables joyfully for hours without fatigue, but as soon as I put these new MIT cables in, it was like all the *musicality* was sucked right out of my system.

I broke them in for a few days, too (not that I think that is necessary, a cable is nothing but a wire with resistance and reactance, how is "breaking it in" going to change anything?), but to no avail. I was listening to my system tonight, puzzled, wondering why albums which had given my such joy only days before were driving me from the room now. I switched back to the cheap interconnects... and presto, problem solved. The joy of listening was restored.

I think the problem is those little grey boxes on the MITs which are supposed to prevent signal loss by "storing energy and releasing it at the right times". Well, this may improve the signal mathematically, but, for whatever reason, it was a big step back musically. Maybe the rest of my gear isn't good enough?

I only paid $50CDN but obviously, they aren't worth a penny to me. For the bad sound and the silly break in recommendation, I can only give one star.
