Strength:
bass, clarity, staging
Weakness:
looks, monster's rubber bands that tend to dry and fall, has an attitude. i have been using this cable with several speakers as well as several amp's. mostly, i used it with a yamaha dsp-A1 amp and a pre-power roksan caspian set with a per of sonus faber grand piano speakers. the cable handles the bass very well with speed and with coherence to the music/movie. it brings a certain attitude to the sound as it carries a lot of bass but all in all it is a very good cable for those of you who want to get the best out of their stereo set. in this price range it is probebly unbeatable. the cable has a beautiful staging which is hard to overlook. the only week link in this cable is its tendency to throw some extra bass at you but other than that it does the job perfectly. i liked its clarity with the high end of the scale and the way it handled fast rock/jazz/R&B music as well as action movie's scenes. this cable comes in highly recommended, at least in this price range, and is a very good choice to those of you who want very good sound and still dont want to lose their heads with cables that cost over 1000$. |

The word neutral best describes these cables. They are also deadly silent, smooth and very revealing. They simply don't get in the way of the music. I would highly recommend them to anyone with biwireable speakers. You will not be disappointed. |

I've enjoyed my Monster Cable M2.4s Bi-wire terminated speaker cable for quite some time now. They were a warranty replacement for the excellent M1.5 speaker cable, which were factory terminated in the bi-wire configuration at the speaker end. The M1.5 had a manufacturing flaw which resulted in a slowly developing mechanical failure, which is not inherent, BTW. Monster's technicians diagnosed the flaw and approved the warranty replacement, which turned out to be an upgrade, since the M1.5 was discontinued, and the price disparity between it and the closest match was significant enough that customer service was worried about replacing a defective product with a lower priced product. My favorite article on this cable is the one where the reviewer discusses its flaws and then flatly states, "I like it anyway." This cable is excellent. At first, you will be hard pressed to hear any sonic signature, but it is there, no matter how subtle. Good soundstage depth; good handling of bass, with slam, pace, and detail; liquid midrange with holographic imaging; very nice high frequency presentation, with plenty of energy to accurately reproduce the excitement of the music. Were this a very expensive cable, it might be appropriate to more fully explore its flaws, which are noticeable once you've identified them, and always identifiable when you listen for them. But you do have to listen for them, because good music has a way of making you want to just sit back and enjoy. 5 stars because of the price/performance ratio. |

These cables are OK but maybe over rated. I'm impressed by the detail resolution of information, but I hear no top octave air at all! Rolled off on top from what I can hear. I'm going to keep looking while I use them. The Midnights were more powerful in the bass and treble, but not as resoving. What to do? 4 stars considering price. |

Well they can say what they want about cables not making a difference. These M2.4's make a difference.I have had them in my system for about a month now.very smooth, midrange is incredible with my Sony SSM7's.very articulate and revealing with no fatigue. The Bass is incredible with excellent slam and pace.Very airy and an incredible sound stage. For this Money it should be a crime. If you are an Audiophile on a budget you will not find a better cable anywhere that will upgrade your system like these cables do.Intrumental timbre remains intact and true to the nature of the recording venue. If there are flaws,I haven't heard them.Of course...when the music is this involving who has time to even think about flaws.Do yourself a favor and audition a pair.you won't go wrong. |

I bought the cable in used condition. I expected that I didn't need to be broken in again since it was in used condition. Once I plugged in the cable to my system at home, the sonic accuracy was totally different and I became better and better everyday. I thought that the cable was only for store demo for a while, even though it lost some of its lousy rubber bands. I would suggest Monster cable to build this cable better next time with a better construction. The overall sound quality was outstanding, the bass was definition, the mid and high was detail clear. I would recommend this cable to everybody with mid to high end equipment, since it requires relatively big speaker terminals to connect. |

Great cables,You would have to spend 2 to 3 times the amount of money for the same quality cable from the other (HIGH ZOOT) brands . |

Awesome, great depth and wonderful mid-range response. 4 Words: "Cables Make a Difference" It's not witchcraft. the least you can do is try them, for the money, I have not found anything even close. |
