This is the BEST cable I ever tried at this price. The improvement over my previous cables is really big. The soundstage, depth, treble and midrange improve tremediously. The main characteristc of this cable is 'airy'. Previous cables that I used were Audioquest Type 4, QED Qudo and Audioquest Indigo MK2 Plus. Highly recommended. |

I got to try these with Kimber Cable (6.00) vs (3.00) for the Nordost. I loved what the nordost did with dynamics, especially voices. I wish it was as detailed |

I am using the Nordost cable with Tannoy Mercury M3s and vintage McIntosh tube amplification and I am very pleased with its performance.Detail and pin-point imaging accuracy is impressive. |

Strength:
Incredible midrange. Vocals seems much clearer. Treble is more powerful.
Weakness:
The lower bass may be a bit weaker. A improvement to my system, I had to turn the treble control down to compensate. Miss the power in the lower bass area. Vocals really came alive! Now I am convinced that the cables make a differance! Similar Products Used: Ordinary cheap copper cable, bought at the el. store. |

Strength:
Good build I've had this cable little over a year now and must say I am satisfied with them so far. I have the bi-wire version which seems to be well built. as for the sound... I really haven't put my cables thru any testing that is credible. But I can say I don't think my system is lacking in sound reproduction. Sorry, best I could do right now. |

Strength:
Detailed, a big upgrade from what I had.
Weakness:
None I'm aware of yet. This was the best audio upgrade I've had to date. I went from Tara Labs Prism Klara to the Nordost Flatine and the difference was incredible. Although very detailed the Tara Labs stranded cable seemed harsh and edgy. The Nordost cable maintains (if not increases) that detail and is much softer and more fluid. I am impressed at what this 'entry level' audiophile cable did for my 'entry level' system. My equipment is as follows: |

Strength:
Bright, fast, incredible detail. Overall nicely balanced sound.
Weakness:
Perhaps a bit less low end than Kimber PBJ My system is an Arcam Alpha 8R integrated amp, a Denon DCM-370 CD changer and Acoustic Energy Aegis One speakers. When I first added the new amp I was disappointed because I had expected miraculous sound and it wasn't anything special. So I started to tweak. Added Nordost Black Knight interconnects (which to my ear sound better than the Nordost Solar Wind) and my system came alive. Then I decided to see what new speaker cable might do. The addition of the flatline gold cables have really made things take off. This system is now a great system. My final tweak might be an Arcam CD player, but for now the Denon will do. Overall, I am phenomenally pleased with my Nordost investments! Similar Products Used: Monster |

Great cable. Bass are more precise now in my system and trebles are cleaner. |
