Strength:
fast, clear as all other silver cables
Weakness:
No deep and tight bass. Sound not liquid. No accurate image. Build quality is low-end home made. Customer support: bad. The guy from silveraudio is a condescendent with bad manner. Agree with Mike's opinion. Pure Silver Sound is far more accurate at less price. With all that you can imagine for silver cables. I also own a pair of Audio Note silver cable. The best sound I've ever heard. Pure silver can achieve 90% of audio note performance at much lower price. Compare to pure silver or audio note, my bullet 6.0 become a itch and I want to get rid of asap. Similar Products Used: Pure Silver Sound Audio Note Cardas |

Strength:
Max (Owner) is great to deal with. 6.0's Smooth/detailed/wide response.
Weakness:
Make's you want to replace other interconnects/Spkr cables/AC Power cords with Silver Audio Products. I was making another (never ending, you all know what this hobby is like!)system change. This time it was to run my CDP direct to my Amps. I needed to purchase a 2 meter unbalanced interconnect to accomplish this. After reading reviews (both mags and websites) I was very interested in the Silver Audio Line. What impressed me was after talking to Max (Silver Audio Owner) he suggested the 6.0 bullets even though I was willing (and planned on a higher priced model). Max impressed me with his honesty. Oter manufacturers tend to say the higher you go the better it will be. When I recv'd the bullets I immediately noticed a deeper bass along with a VERY SMOOTH,WIDE,and DETAILED frequency range. The 6.0 Silver Bullets seemed to be pulling the signal from my CDP not just providing a signal path. What I heard is what Max described. Silver Audio gives a 30 trial which I think can be reduced to a 3 minute trial since that's all you'll need. There's an old saying "You get what you pay for" In my opinion Silver Audio has proven that wrong because in this case I feel I got more than what I paid for. This is a great product very resonable priced with a supportive and honest company behind it. Next I have to save for the Symphony 48 speaker cables. Thanks Max !! Strength:
smooth mid range, tight bass, lofty highs, Excellent connectors
Weakness:
None My natural upgrade path went Kimber Hero, Silver Streak, DH Labs, Harmonic Tech Truth link then Por-Silway, Audiotruth, and then Silver Audio. The sound and the price do not always correspond. Similar Products Used: Kimber Hero, DH Labs, Harmonic Tech truth link and pro-silway (II's) |

This past fall and early winter I went through quite an odyssey trying to find the "right" interconnects for my system. (Legacy (Coda) electronics, Legacy Classic Speakers, and Rotel RDD 980 and RDP 980 transport and DAC) Some made the sound a little hard, others were softer, but at the expense of definition, many were disappointments. |

these cables are constructed from thin-gauge, ultra-pure strands of silver witha teflon dielectric, which are hand-braided into a tight, true 6-strand braid |

I did a major upgrade going from a Counterpoint Solid 1, Solid 8 with Magnapan 10.1 to a Krell FPB, Pass Labs Aleph P, Krell KAV 300 CD and Martin Logan reQuest. After that, my pockets were bare. I used my old Monster M1000 interconnects in an interim period. The sense of space and openess I had experienced during product auditions was totally missing. I thought I made a big mistake.... So I start my search for quality balanced interconnects. After looking and listening I heard about the D Lin Silver Bullets on the Internet. Upon reading reviews on-line and hearing about the money back guarentee, I took the plunge. Let me tell you, I have never heard such a change in sound quality! It took my system from sounding like a one that has enclosed the musicians to a open, transparent soundstage with all performers in the correct perspective. All this without any grain, glare, colorations, high frequency roll-off etc. I marvel at the detail that is being provided due to the quality of the Balanced Silver Bullet 6.0.. |

Although the improvement I get upgrading from Silver Bullets 4.0 to 6.0 is not as dramatic as changing from other cables (Kimber, Tara Labs, MIT,Transparent, ...) to the 4.0s, I'd still give it a five star rating for I have never heard ANYTHING better. |

Just wanted to let y'all know that I used a old Silver Audio 6.0 as an AES/BSU digital interconnect between my Monarchy DIP MkII and my Adcom GDA700 with excellent results!!! I know that it's not intended for this purpose, but just thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! It's WAYYY better than the Kimber AGDL that it replaces! I'm going to get a 6ft length of the van den Hul 110ohm cable pretty soon. I'll let you know how it compares when I get that hooked up. |

I don't know what happened to the previous reviews of the Silver Bullet 6.0's (mine included), but having bought an updated set, I thought I'd start another page for these incredible cables.I bought two pairs of the original 6.0's about a year ago, and was so impressed that I decided to try Max Kreifeldt's latest and greatest 6.0's. These new 6.0's are, in a word, fabulous. Although not as aesthetically pleasing as before (personal preference--I like to see the silver), the newest 6.0's sound cleaner and image better than their predecessors. Both the midrange and treble are extremely clear without any harshness or grain, and the bass is as tight and deep as before. And most important of all, the magically warm and palpable midrange has been beautifully preserved in this latest iteration. And I haven't even fully broken these in yet. |
