Strength:
Great bass control. Exceptional detail and ability to maintain soundstage. Very musical sounding cables.
Weakness:
The color is about all the weakness this cable has. I bought these cables at a local Hi-End audio retailer. At first, I wasn't too eager to listen to these as the price point was less than half of the cables I usually buy. I am a firm believer that cables can truly degrade the sound quality of the system, and so I don't mind spending a few hundred on a nice pair of RCAs.

Strength:
Smooth tops and bass extension; not courlor music too much, very neutral.
Weakness:
It's PINK, YUCK! can be overbright at high volume Great cable for the money, you can't go wrong with SonicLink Whisper. It is flexible and comes in good packaging, but the connectors are what I like about this cable. This brand is later changed its name to Black Rhodium, both are not cool anyway. It sounds quite neutral and has enough detail from the top to the bottom. It is an excellent choice for a cable under $150. Similar Products Used: KIMBER Kable PBJ, ... many in this price range |

Strength:
Detail and focus soundstage. Great timing.
Weakness:
Colour Bought this 2nd hand and compared it to DNM Reson w/ bullet plugs. I was amazed at the clarity and detail of this cable between my NAD 541i and Arcam Delta 290 amp. Extremely impressive performance indeed. Similar Products Used: DNM Reson Taralab Quantum CD Daiyo cables |

Weakness:
None on my system Formerly known as Sonic Link Silver Pink/Whisper, now called Black Rhodium Rhythm which, according to Glen Trafford of Canadian Hi-Fi, are both the same cables with the only difference of the jacket being white instead of pink. By replacing the Qed Qunex 2 - which I had been using for more than half a year - with the Rhythm interconnets make my system sing so much better than it used to. I believe I've found the perfect match for my system which includes: Marantz CD6000SE Nad C350 Tannoy 3-way tower speaker Audioquest Type 2+ & 4+ (personally prefer Type 2+ as I am not a big fan of strong bass) It is needless to extend this review by saying how good these cables are as the 10 reviewers above have already said it all. Glen Trafford carries a full range of Black Rhodium products that can be ordered online at www.canadianhifi.com or by phone at tel: 306-522-4434. No, I do not work for the store, I am indeed just a happy customer who feels the need of spreading the good words about the excellent service provided by Glen. Strength:
Great sound and value.
Weakness:
It's Pink!!!! But I guess I don't mind because my speaker cables are pink as well. No real weaknessess. Sounds awesome! Clear and defined soundstage, no mushiness or incoherant blending. Very detailed and articulate. I reccomend it whole heartedly. It is harder to find in the states but it can be purchased through a Rega dealer for under $100. In comparison w/ the dh-labs bl-1, It sounds better. The BL-1 sounds great but it sacrifices some accoustic quality and it shows up next to the silver pinks. Strength:
Clear and defined soundstage. Well priced, considering conductor is silver plated OFC.
Weakness:
The original version had average quality RCA phono plugs but the lastest version has better quality ones supplied These cables are fantastic! They are very accurate, provide very good and stable imaging and do not add any harshness to the sound like some pure silver interconnects that I have tried. I originally bought two pairs and had them fitted between a Musical Fidelity X10D ( The Missing Link ), a H&K 7600 CD player and a Musical Fidelity X-pre. Although the X10D was responsible for improving & balancing the signal between the CD player and pre-amplifier the addition of the Sonic Link Pink cable saw yet another ( slight ) improvement in the soundstage but the greater/more noticable improvement was the "breathiness" in female vocals and how the highs were clearer but not harsh. Although I have moved on from this system ( now use Sony XA5ES CD player, AMC CVT 3030a intergrated amp ) I still use the Sonic Link Pink in this system. Recently purchased another pair and found that they now come fitted with different and slightly better RCA phono connectors and they are now called Sonic Link Whisper. If you are after a cable that just delivers the musical improvement without you having to play " MR Hi Fi" and waiting for long burn in periods, Go for the Sonic Link Pink, now called Sonic Link Whisper. If you have trouble finding a local dealer, email the guys at WWW.walrus.co.uk. For the money and the substantial improvement this choice is certainly a "no brainer" Similar Products Used: Kimber PJB, Ixos Gamma, Audioquest Diamondback |

In my opinion the SONIC LINK - " Silver Pink " equal / possibly surpass the DH LABS Silver Sonic BL - 2 interconnects which I also own along with the DH LABS T - 14 speaker cables which are wonderful . The SONIC LINK cables are manufactured in ENGLAND and imported to the US by " REGA " . The " Silver Pink " received high regards by HI - FI CHOICE , WHAT HI * FI , and other reviewers as well .These cables are very detailed without being to bright , have very good separation , a good bottom end , and other very good properties as well .To purchase the SONIC LINK - " Silver Pink " interconnects you'll need to find a " REGA " dealer who carries or can possibly order them for you . I highly recommend you to audition these cables for yourself . |

A friend of mine bought a couple of these cables for me when he was in England. They're modestly built and cost me 35 UKP each pair. These cables are fantastic! They are very accurate, provide very good and stable imaging and do not add any harshness to the sound. Compared to my Synergistic Research Looking Glass and Luminescence Phase 1 cables, which cost 6 times its price, I'd say that they are a much better value, loosing a little bit of image height and soundstage depth. Very good choice if you can find one. |

The wife was in Ireland recently and bought me home a one meter pair of 'Silver Pinks'. They cost just $65.00! I used them to replace a set of 200 series Monsters. To say that the difference in sound was dramatic would be to understate the case! |
