Strength:
Enduring cable. Great detail for the right combination an setup.
Weakness:
Inflexible cable. Fussy with different systems. Have this cable for nearly a decade. Im not a avid audiophile but tried picking bits and pieces recently. Bought a DNM Reson with bullet plugs for my NAD 540i CDP and Arcam 290/P combination amp. Results: 1. Limited detail for connection between CDP and amp. 2. Wonderful detail for connection between Pre/Power amps Similar Products Used: Soniclink Pink DNM Reson w/ bullet plugs Daiyo consumer cables (sucks!) |

Strength:
brilliance in midrange and treble, good bass, low price
Weakness:
a bit sturdy I have been using this cable for 5 years now. It realy lifted up the sound of my system. I have 1.0 meter version of this cable. It is directional becouse of the coppar structure inside the cable. You have to use it in right direction in order to obtain the best possible sound. |

Strength:
Adds weight and presence to vocals, strings.
Weakness:
Not the smoothest cable...can be lean in the wrong system. First of all, let me say that these are not your run of the mill, fakey-smooth high end interconnects. They can make a system sound bad, but only if you use more than one pair, and only if you have very cable-sensitive equipment. If you have equipment that is not over-reactive to cables, these can work a sonic miracle for you. How can a cheap cable work a miracle? Well, for some reason unknown to me, these puppies really like to be mated with expensive interconnects...ie., they can be amazing if you use them as your CD to pre cable, and then another higher grade cable between the pre and your amp. They somehow just combine with good cables in a synergy that brings the music into the room. I've tried literally a hundred cables, and almost without exception, they all sounded better mated with the Quantum CD than with another pair of their own type, another model from the same company, or models from other companies. So if you are already using AQ, or Straightwire, I suggest that you get a pair of these and slap them on your CD or DVD....and if you have other brands in your kit, try them and see if they work in your system...you might just find some "magic".
