XLO limited. (XLR,Powercord)

I am a musician (pianist and conductor)
I realised how very important cables are ,but it is difficult to find out which
cable is a good one.(Expensive to try out)
My reference are the instruments in an orchestra.
XLO limited comes for me the closest to a natural sound.
I use the XLR and the powercord>
I tried Purist, Siltech. (the expensive ones).
If you like analitic and sonical sound, choose siltech.
Purist is just good if you pay the most expensive cables.
But buy them never new!
If you want to hear a real violin,a contrabass,a clarinet or bassoon.
Buy a XLO limited.
The best choose for your cables is if it is around 25 percent of the value from your system..

this digital cable, in my system ( aloia amps/preamps, scd-1/dodson 217 mkIId dac, vonschweikert reference vr5s),was the clear winner among the cables mentioned above. the purist audio 'dominus' comes very close but doesn't have the soundstage that the xlo le digital does.there is no weakness in highs,mids or bass with this cable..all are pristine.the bass is deep and tight with more of a presence then all but the 'dominus' which is on a par with the xlo. the 'dominus' may have a quieter backgound then the xlo but not by much.you can hear further into the music.brass pieces are never bright or etched.vocals are palpable.transparency is amazing.this is not an inexpensive cable,obviously,but used with a system that is already great,it just might be the last tweak you need.

This cable, in my opinion, is highly overpriced. The advertiser in Hong Kong said this cable is the most natural sounding cable ever made. To me, natural means nothing special. After extensive A-B comparison with the One, Venture Ultimate Reference and Transparent Reference, the XLO seems to be a laggard. ALthough XLO is not bad in every aspect either, it certainly does not worth the price. For this price, I will go for the ONE or Transparent Reference

A view into the music

Super expensive

This one is remarkable. Why ? Well, I have lots of XLO Cables, from the cheaper ones ( which are excellent ,too ) to this most expensive one. All, except this here, are similar for their sonic attributes. Differences are in reproduction of space and the airy high frequencies ( mainly of course ).
But the Ltd. Edition really transforms the signal into a huge soundfield. It is simply extraordinary for macro-,and microdynamics, neutrality (really ), resolution and inner detailing. Low frequencies are well defined and absolutely clean, yes indeed, I think they offer a fantastic low end. And what is really amazing is-This-Dynamic-Spectrum-you-can-feel-and-hear; this really impressed me most.

For the first time I have problems with the rating, because it is soooo expensive. A whole amplifier or phono stage for only 1 Cable ? Well, as good this cable is, I think it is made for the Rich ones.
When you can't afford it easily, don't worry about having sleepless nights, go for the XLO Signature (this is compared to the Ltd. Ed. a bargain).
But:

last year i bought a new kef reference 3 speakers to use with my 50 watt ensemble tiger integrated and linn karik cd.
later i added a linn numeric dac.i used audioquest lapis cable.the bass wasnt tight with too much midbass and the sound was too much laidback.i started to think about buying an expensive prepower and auditiond a few that should have cost me 7000-10000 dollars.my search ended when i occationly heard the xlo signature 1.1 with my equipment.i heard a lot of deteils i never heard before,the sound became more forward and lively.i then asked for the xlo limited that was fantastic.the midrange was richr and fuller the highs sweeter and livelier and the bass outstanding.so i forgot about buying a prepower and bought instead 12 meter cable(1500$) which saved me about 5000-7000$.enthusiastically recommended!!!!!
