I connected my home theater PC to my D-ILA projector at high res (1360x1024) and got mediocre perfromance using good quality generic 6 foot VGA cables (I tried a couple). The 18 foot better cables VGA cable gave MUCH better peformance then the shorter cables. The signal to the projector is nearly perfect. Obvious defects like minor ghosting are gone and in general the picture looks significantly better in all areas including color. Given the price of the D-ILA projector and the Home Theater PC I conenct to it the price of the better cables "utlra" VGA cable was a bargain.
