This player was auditioned when unfortunately, my Rega Planet developed a cough and my dealer was kind enough to lend me something to listen to in the meantime. Through this player I rediscovered the joys of Eastenders,Friends, Coronation Street,Jerry Springer and various other telly programmes that I had previously only been dimly aware of.
If you like your music to be a flat wall of sound with little differentiation between instruments and an enthusiastic but uncommunicative ,rowdy presentation, then look no further!And for anyone else who actually LIKES music,then save yourself £200 and check out the Rega (of which I have posted a review elsewhere.)Reviewed through a Magnum Class A SE integrated (an excellent amp,of which I hope to post a review in the near future)and an Electrocompaniet ECI-2 integrated (another great amp-see my review under amplifiers) running into DIY loudspeakers using Audax carbon fibre drivers.
