great transport

no balenced out

I just got this player with a 19" faceplate a week ago from audioadvisor on sale for $200 b stock. I'm using it connected to two monarchy dip II's then to my denon avp-8000 preamp via DH Labs Silver Sonic D-75. I noticed everything across the board sounding better over the dynaco cdv-pro i was using before. I was really surprised sense i didn't really expect any improvement and only got this to because i was moving my other cdp to another room. I thought the monarchy's would be taking care of any flaws and evening out the players. I was wrong. I rated it 5 stars for value due to me getting it for $200 and 4 stars overall.
