Weakness:
somewhat noisy changing, no disc exchange, no number pad on remote, some functions on remote not on console I remember this number (but it didn't have the M). This was my first CD player. I bought it as a refurbished CD player at Best Buy in Wisconsin in......1992 or something. It was great for the 5 years I had it. It played every CD, never skipped, had no problem with scratches (but I don't let my CD's get scratched ;). It was great. It did what I wanted, I recorded to tape players with the fade control, I shuffled 5 discs of vastly different music, though I couldn't trade discs while I was listening, but I didn't care about that enough to trade in this player. Finally, one day it died :( It wouldn't play. Actually, it did so kind of gradually in its last month, right after the extended warranty I got from Best Buy ran out. the problem was $200, and a new one was 150 or so, So I said goodbye to my old CD player and hello to my next Sony cd changer, with disc exchange :) What would my life at school have been like if I didn't have this player??
