Strength:
Disk Exchange system. You can change up to 4 CD's while one is playing. Has Optical Output for advanced hookup to receiver.
Weakness:
Remote control does not have a power button on it. You have to push the power button on the CD player to turn it on and off. How they forgot that one...I dunno. The Remote is a bit awkward as far as the buttons are laid out. This one's a keeper. I wanted a Sony CD player and this one was on sale. This one has Optical output for advanced wiring and sound, and a clear LCD display for tracking. You can play 5 CD's, and the switchover between the disks is pretty fast...not as fast as some 100 disk systems. The GREAT benefit is that you can swap up to 4 disks at the same time the fifth disk is playing so you do not miss a beat. Again, the remote doesn't have a power button, and the buttons are laid out awkward compared to the buttons on the console. I guess it's Sony's idea of a weight-loss program to get off the couch and turn the thing off and on. |
