Strength:

Cd Text, Slink, Sound Quality.

Weakness:

Size

I have used this player for a month and have had no problems yet. It sounds very good, 105 s/n ratio. I got it for $169 as a scracth and dent promo from Crutchfield. I am very happy with it so far.

Liked the fact initially that I could store up to 200 discs. But once I got it home realized it was poorly made, clunky and constantly skipped. Exchanged it for a new one and it did it again. Sound was flat and uninspired. A real piece of garbage---save your money. Go with the more traditional 5 or 6 changer. Only reason I gave it one star was because there wasn't a choice for zero stars.

I just recently purchased CDP CX220 for $174.00 after rebate and discounts. It sounds great for the price i've paid. Some 50+1 changers cost almost as much.
No problems with detecting disks. No memory failure. Just too much time spend with entering the titles.

Overall a good player. Paid 289 at CC. A good deal cheaper then the 240, the major difference is a keyboard input and the option of adding a second CD player. Wish this had a keyboard input, but no big deal. Sound is crisp and clean, big difference over my single drawer player. Courisel is quick, track changing is also quick. Big question? Where is the "time" mode. You can't see any other time except time elasped in track...even my drawer player can changed to all 4 time modes...OH well small detail..also no timer, but I wouldn't use it anyway. Remote could use some redesigning, but I've never seen a remote I loved. Data entry is going to be tedious and if you change the slot the player will NOT remember it....BIG feature is 8 sound groups!Well, all in all a good player hope it lasts...
