Strength:
Nice capacity, very stable...doesn't skip.
Weakness:
Shuffle play Look, I really really like this CD changer. But can someone tell me why, when I have it on shuffle, that I hear from pretty much the same 5 or 10 CD and *WHY* it will sometimes play the same song twice. You would be correct in saying...well, if you didn't expect it, it'spretty random, huh? But..umm..I don't really want it to repeat until it's played maybe another hundred songs from the possible 500 stored inside. But maybe I'm doing something wrong. |

Strength:
Digital out is nice to have.
Weakness:
I can play more random if I just mash my remote! How can you sell a product that has a shuffle feature that plays back to back, the same damn song? I know, you call this feature shuffle, not random. I should have questioned the term a bit more! Like, "why does it say shuffle instead of random like every other CD player in the world that has such a feature?" Over all this unit is not a bad CD player. It makes for a horrible juke box, so to speak. The main attraction of keeping it is that 50+ of my CDs won't be scratched from taking them in and out. However, I have been enraged from the aforementioned misleading unit so far as to throw a CD or two as far as I can... in shuffled direction, of course. Similar Products Used: Name it. |

Just bought this cd player for a great price at the sony outlet. Works great! Sounds perfect no skipping when I pound my cerwin-vega.It dosen't have name program, but it has optical connection and s-link so it's worth it! Only paid $130 brand new. |

Very happy with this CD player. 51 Disc with optical connection. No name input, but I hate doing that anyway. It takes too long. I had originally bought the CE335 (5 disc player), but for only 19.99 more this one gets me 46 more discs. Sweet sound too! |

long disc loading time... low dynamic range... I bought this from Best Buy for $165... it sounds great, n' I like everything about it... the disc loading time is the only problem... |

I'm surprised there are not more reviews of this model, since it has been out for about a year and are sold at nearly all the major discount electronic stores. I've had mine for about 9 months. It has performed flawlessly. This is the family room player, so I wanted the "jukebox" capacity, which is great to not have to load and re-load. I also got this model because of the digital out. I run mine through a Technics digital decoder. I like the sound better that way. This unit also has a rare feature - The player can be turned on and off with the remote! I don't know why so many CD players don't have this ability. No more coming on automatically with the receiver. Because of the function, utility and Value, I'm giving this 5 stars |

Strength:
Very convenient for my needs. Holds 50 most played CDs and room for the kid to put a hip-hop thing in there from time to time.
Weakness:
None that matter to me. You know, while I'm at it, I have to hand it to my Pioneer for lasting 15 years... in fact it still works but the magazine design sucks really. Similar Products Used: My Pioneer 6 disc magazine changer that is about 15 years old. |

Strength:
51 CDs of audio lovin'...
Weakness:
Slow as hell load time Good changer, dunno what I can say, hard to really hype a CD player too much.. I like the fact that it can hold a ton of CDs, and has an optical output, though. As for skippage, I've managed to make it, but it's hard doing it. I was using a 12" sub on the floor, and copious volumes, but it was STILL hard to make it geek out, so it seems to be tough. Gets my vote! |
