DESCRIPTION

The XM Direct package includes everything necessary to play XM over your compatible factory stereo: an XM tuner box, a roof-mount antenna, and the adapter cable that connects the tuner to your stereo. (This package is not compatible with Ford vehicles that have rear entertainment systems.) The tuner box is compact, so you can mount it easily in a convenient spot behind the dash. The adapter cable connects to the tuner at one end, and your factory stereo at the other, providing both signal to the stereo and power to the tuner. The antenna mounts magnetically on your vehicle''s roof, and connects to tuner box. The cable also has a pass-through that lets you keep an extra component, such as a factory (or factory-compatible) CD changer, connected to the system.
