Strength:
Seals out external sounds very well. Sound clarity is, again, OK.
Weakness:
No crisp highs at all, mute button is a momentary button. I was expecting an ON-OFF button, but that's ok, I will probably never use it anyway. Cord is quite thin, and could use maybe another 2 feet in length. Squeeze the head a little, but this helps the cups block out all external sound. Bought these headphones as a TEMPORARY replacement for my $70 JVC's which I loved till they blew out. Tested these and they are, well, OK. That's about it..... OK. |

Strength:
They are very comfortable. They reduce outside noise and events very well. They're not 100% accurate, but they are not accurate because they were made to sound desirable to average listeners. Upper midrange frequencies and lower treble frequencies are damped/muffled to provide a non-tiring listening experience. The handful of bass tracks from bass CDs that I've tried on them so far do not seem to phase them at all. They'll harm your hearing/be uncomfortably loud before you'll make them distort.
Weakness:
They're not 100% accurate. I upgraded from a pair of Koss earphones to these. These earphones are a major improvement and will hold me off for a little while before I invest the $200-$300 budget into earphones that I've set for myself. They're great sounding for someone on a budget. Similar Products Used: Koss(sorry, not model #) |
