I will agree that these have a lot of bass and do a good job of isolating the listener. However, the mid range and treble was absolutely horrible. Harsh, hollow, and tinny. The volume control is nice, but there are better phones in the same price range.

The Koss R/30s headphones are alright. The frequency response only goes from 18-20khz but those are the limits of audible noise anyway. These cans are incredibly bassy. EXTREMELY BASSY. They are pretty good though. The sensitivity on these things is 106 db/mW. There is dual volume control. For 45 bucks, they aren't bad. You absolutely cannot hear outside noise. Although the treble is a bit lacking, if you love bass, these are for you.

It's the best thing going for this. I got it on sale at best buy like two years ago for $20. They are pretty worn out now, but they have the best bass. For me though, I can only take so much bass before I have to take the phones off. Get these only if you want to be sonically cut off from the world when wearing these, and want the bass to shake your head. :)

Graduated to Sennheiser HD433. These are only $25. They are much less bassy, but wow these are clear! Gotta luv a european product. You feel so HIP
