Strength:

-Very comfortable [ i've worn them for 4-5 hours at a time ] -Sound like two small subwoofers by your ears, you have to hear them to believe them, [don't trust the specifications that are on the box] i've tested all the sony headphones and none of them were this comfortable or good sounding in an even remotely simliar price range. -Even using them on my cd player they work perfectly, with strong sound, bass, treble, sensitivity and all... -They have a Lifetime warranty meaning the quality is very good or else they will repair/replace them for you.

Weakness:

-Bulky, but the sound and comfort level more than makes up for it.

These phones are awsome! Without a doubt by far the best in this price range. Forget sony, panasonic, and all the other big names with their marketing brainwashing the masses into thinking their products are better than the competitions! Koss is the way to go!

Strength:

Built, maybe a good allrounder.

Weakness:

Can''t handle high volumes. Sound.

Koss says that the headphones is god at "DJ & Studio" us. But it has not enough clarity and my UR20 couldn''t handle the wolume..

Strength:

comfortable, lite weight, Good sound, low cost

Weakness:

very big headphone, unesthetic

The sound is very good for the price. The UR-20 have a good tonal balance but lack a litle bit on the transparency. It isolate completely the listener from the outside noise and vice versa, great for office ! They are also great for mp3, because you dont hearing the hiss that could be present on mp3, heaven when they are silent moment in the song, like Pink Floyd.

With a sensitivy of 97dB/1mW, a Frequency response between 30-20K Hz and a impedance of 32 ohms, you have the best headphone for 24$. Like slogan say, Hearing is Believing.

Strength:

Cheap, Closed Cans, Cord only goes to the left earpiece.

Weakness:

Boomy base, undefined treble.

Not bad at all. Very good sound for 26 dollars(after tax). Pretty much nothing on the market in a closed can for similar price and sound quality. I'm happy with them.
They are easily driven by even the crappiest cd player. At fairly high volumes(louder than confortable listening volume) deep base will distort slightly and get worse as the volume gets higher.

Strength:

Great Sound and Value

Weakness:

Large, Massive headphones

Recently my headphones for my computer broke and I needed a new pair but I wanted "real" brand name headphones. First I bought Jesen headphones I took them back (don't buy them). I had a choice between the Koss UR20, JVC HA-G55, Sennheiser HD 400 Headmax. After going to this site and some others I bought these. The sound is great and thats all there is to it but they are very large and heavy which kinda bothers me.

Strength:

Great sounding headset for the price. Decent bass and treble. Extension wire is thick and attached to the left side only.

Weakness:

A bit bulky but performance more than makes up for it.

This is a good product for the price. I needed an inexpensive set for my computor. These fit the bill very nicely. They block out a considerable amount of outside noise and are easy to wear for extended periods of time. the sound quality is quite good for the price that I paid. There are other more expensive products for sale in the market but the Koss UR20's are much better than others that I listened to.

Strength:

Better then average sound; doesn't require a boost; comfortable for long periods of time; Koss's signature bass

Weakness:

better headphones out there for just a few more bucks; lack good mix of pitch ranges (like varying simultaneous instruments)

The flexibility is great, and uncommon in this range of phones. They work well in an average CD player without a boost or using Line-Out. Still there are better phones out there, and i just wanted to submit this review to lower their overall score to make it more just to these headphones. Great phones if you like techno or anything with heavy bass!

Strength:

Very deep bass when boosted!!! Sounds great with very low distortion!

Weakness:

NONE AT ALL!

I got these stereophones on November 22, 2001. I was amazed on the size of the cups. I love their design to block out the interuption in a noisy background. You should try these headphones and judge on how you like them. The Model # is UR-20, keep that in mind when you shop. Well if you like them, enjoy these stereophones with your favorite hits. I'm happy with them, and I also think KOSS did an excellent job on the wire so you don't break the insulation and the wires inside frequently and have to replace them. PEACE OUT!!!
