It's the most robust, comfortable and reliable headphone at the same time as I've ever seen with its detachable, thick, long cord with gold pins etc. Also, it has a lot of bass, it's really wide, very dynamical etc., so it's a proper device to listen through it to that futile, imbecile thing the masses call music (and I use sometimes as psychedelics while working as well - no one is perfect).

I use these for my pc, and the tv at night. They are the most comfortable i've ever had. Like soft pillows on my ears. I use them for many hours per day, and theyre very comfortable. I paid about £80, but now after about 7 years the pads need replacing. But what value for money!! |

Strength:
- comfort, comfort, comfort - sound quality
Weakness:
- leak a lot of sound - bulky Bought them because they are EXTREMELY comfortable. I had a pair of sony headphones with the leather earcups, but those are very fatiguing, and become too uncomfortable after 40 minutes use. These you can wear for a few hours before giving your ears a break. Sound quality is good, although I have limited experience with high priced headphones. Unlike leather suction headphones, these leak a lot of sound. Similar Products Used: Sony and JVC headphones that ran for more than $70. |

Strength:
Generally good from low to high. Very comfortable. Even with wearing glasses, I can wear the phone for more than 2 hours with no problem.
Weakness:
Sennheiser HD 580 has more flat sound and better clarity, thus it's better for classical music. There are very little difference when you listen to pop music, though. I was looking at $100 range headphones, and I had a good exprience with SONY product before (I don't remember the model, but it was around $50 10years ago). I heard this is comfortable even with glasses on, so I deceided on this. Similar Products Used: Sennheiser HD 580 |

Strength:
Bass, comfort, expansive sound, value
Weakness:
proprietary cord (costs a fortune from sony), non-adjustable strap. After searching for comfortable, clean, bassy cans for a good price, I found these for a song on ebay. They sound just as I expected: accurate, entertaining, vibrant. I haven't heard that many different cans, but compared to some Senns, Panasonics, Audio Technicas and other Sonys these are up in the top 10% of most of the stuff found in stores. Similar Products Used: HD-570, panasonic cans, CD580s, various other phones in electronics stores. |

Strength:
- superb sound, very clear and natural - superb wearing comfort
Weakness:
- none! First I was about to buy the mdr-cd580, but the store didn´t have those, so they sold me these 780´s for the 580´s price. The sound of these headphones is spectacular, very clear treble and deep, powerfull bass. Absolutely fantastic wearing comfort, when you put these one, you never wanna take them off! If you wanna get the best out of these headphones, you should have a good amplifier, but you can still get a fairly good sound from a portable player though. I think these are the best headphones for the price! Similar Products Used: Sony mdr-cd270 (poor!) |

Comfort Value Sound
Weakness:
Gets warm after using for a while Very easy to use and to listen to. They are a bit heavy, but these aren’t the types of headphones that one goes jogging with anyway. They do get warm after about 45 mins of use though, but that stems from the lining of the earpads. The headphones sound great. The reproduce sounds very well, and makes listening to music much more entertaining. The earpads and automatically adjustable headband keep these headphones securely on your head and adjust to anyone’s headsize. These features make the headphones much more comfortable. |

Strength:
bright sound, clear and clean sound
Weakness:
slightly heavy and hot if used for long duration. This headphone produces very clear sound. It brings out the dynamic of the music and the bass is very solid. I enjoy listening to it and often listened till the wee hours of the night. Similar Products Used: none |
