Strength:
Everything excellent on dvd,dvda,sacd and cd.
Weakness:
Weight 17 pounds but that is really not a weakness it is a plus. When I first got this unit I thought it was malfunctioning because I could not get a picture from the component video outputs. Then after reading the manual I found that it only works with HiDef televisions.So that is why it does not function. This player can do just about anything. It ia fantastic on sacd and dvda.The video even though I have to use the s-video connection is very good. I can't wait to see what it does with an hdmi connection. The audio is excellent. cd's sound great and I cannot find anything this dvd player does not do well. Similar Products Used: Rotel 1080, Marantz 8400. |

Sound, Video, versatility, construction.
Weakness:
None yet The best pictue, sound in all formats. I have listened to many. You have to spend a lot more to come close. The AL24 Processing upsamling does wonders for good CD's. SACD and DVD Audio firewire actually works. Similar Products Used: Too many to count, but including Denon's own 5900, 2900. |
