Playing DVD's

Well, for a unit Very rarely used, looks pretty nice but it doesn't work. Had it less then one year, and many features are failed including it playing DVD's. If you can finally get the machine to open, when you place a dvd IN PLAYER IT COMES UP WITH ERROR "NO DISC". Not worth sending in for labor costs not included in warenty.
