none that stand sout from any other dvd player

I've had nothing but trouble with this since I received it as a gift. It was purchased through Amazon.com Less than three months after receiving it I had to take it in for repairs...it reused to show an image..it just played audio. Now I cannot get the darn thing out of standby mode. I have tried everything...including unplugging it for a day...thinking it might reset itself. It stays in standby and the instructions offer no advice on this malfunction. Piece of crap...don't bother!
