Strength:

Great sound Great picture

Weakness:

mp3 navigation

I compared it with the Pioneer DV656A which was a little more expensive and it was way better than the pioneer. More precise sound, sharper picture. Only one down side, I cannot navigate through the mp3's while listening to a song but I don't care much about that. I recommend this unit to everyone. Don't buy the cheap ones. Go one step higher and get this marantz dvd player. You won't regret it.

Strength:

Great Looker. Great performer. Silent Operation. Great Remote. Fantastic Colour Reproduction thru my Grundig Widescreen. Reproduces Music which puts some Audiophile grades to shame. IMHO.

Weakness:

None whatsoever.

G'day! Just thought I'd complete my mission by dribbling about the Marantz DV4300 DVD Player (price in Oz Dollars) in addition to my review of the Marantz SR4300 AV Receiver as well. What can I say - It's a brilliant machine. Pictures and sound just scream of a quality player for the money. Biased? Well maybe. Especially when the rest of the other big players in the game perform disappointingly at more than twice the price. This machine provides the relevant connections and just delivers the goods in even more abundance when connected to the SR4300. Buy it!

Auditioned the rest, bought the best. IMHO.
