Got this for use on family trips xmas 2004. Took it on one trip and it only worked on one fourth of the store-bought DVD's we had. Been in storage for a coulple years and just took it on a 2000+ mile car trip....it worked for part of one movie (The Incredibles...seems to be the ONLY movie it works for...most of the time). With other movies it either says "no disc", "loading" forever, or goes into play mode but never plays. The disc is spinning whenever the door is opened. Bought this at Costco but was not that cheap when we got it. It is the biggest piece of crap I think I have EVER purchased. See lots of complaints on battery death....this one did that too even though we have a total of 6 hours of use on it.
