Not even the service could repair twice the problem with cd/dvd loading and reading. The problem exists from the first month. I am really dissapointed, because i paid a lot, and i am obliged to connect another cd player to listen my music and dvd player to watch my movies.
I did a big mistake to buy it, because i saw another two l70 in the shop for repairing, before i buy it.

I mainly listen to CDs and radio but because on limited space also wanted a single unit that would also play DVDs. Hence my purchase of the NAD L70.
This clever little box and does just about everything I need. Amazing audio quality on CD, Radio, and 5.1 surround on DVD. It also has a really clever learning remote, which I can use to control all my other gear regardless of make (TV, VCR, Satellite box). All in all a superb unit which I would highly recommend.

To be honest - don't bother with this unit!!

Although on the face of it, it looks like the ideal DVD combined with an Amp, but there have been too many annoying problems.

Audio/video sync a problem from day one, and gradually getting worst. around 0.25sec out of sync.

Disc reading problems - failed to read some discs
Disc loading time - far too long
Disc loading cannot be intercepted ie eject disc to stop it trying to read a disc

DVD player packed in in less than a year

Surround sound not powerful enough on rear speakers

Setup up menus not easy to follow and not logical.
