Wow, can I give it more than 5 stars? I guess I was one of the lucky ones to actually see this thing in person. It was at display at a local mom-and-pop home theater installer shop (Santa Ana, CA). I was really amazed at the size: 50 inches. No other manufacturers could even come close; the next size down is 42 inches. BTW, it's not a TV but rather an XGA monitor. A huge one, I might add. Pioneer does sell a TV tuner to go with this thing, however. |

Ok..I know this might not be the place for this, but since whoever buys this piece would be using it for Home Theatre (HT), I figured it might be benificial.I have to admit, I would never have had the chance to see one of these if I didn't work for a company that works closely with Pioneer. This display would make even the most dedicated HT freak drool until the cows came home. Without a doubt, this is the best piece of HT equipment I have ever seen. For a plasma screen, the display is surprisingly crisp, clear, and blemish-free. Not to mention the ease of installation; hang it up, stand it up..it's your choice. |
