Strength:
Price is a big one combines with the features and quality
Weakness:
Remote and main menus are pretty lack luster Pleased with the unit so far. It seems to operate well and I have not noticed any glitchs. The remote is poorly laid out and cannot be viewed in the dark even with it's light on, so why bother with a light? For the money at Future shop the component and digital decoder sold me. The picture quailty has also been very good. This is hooked up to a mid priced audio system and the sound is good coming from the Bose. |

Strength:
Quite, Slim design, and easy to use
Weakness:
Does not support CD-R or CD-RW. I was looking for a DVD Player that supported these formats for my videos I create. I was told by a representative at Circuit City that this product would do that for me. Now that I have had a chance to sit down and make a video cd this DVD Player does not support it. It's just great how I get lied to and lose $250.00 of my money for a product that doesn't do what I want it to do. So now I have to go out and spend at least another $100 for another DVD Player does support computer generated cds and have only one television to hook them both up to. Good DVD Player to use for movie viewing and with the beating it's taken from being used 6 out of 7 nights a week, surprisingly it still has the same quality as when I bought it and still to this day I have yet to clean the lense, but other than that I do not like it. It does not do everything you can get out of a $100 KLH DVD-Player. I will only recommend this DVD Player to people I do not like or have the money to waste on a second one. Now if anybody has any suggestions as to why I should have two DVD Players hooked up to one television please let me know. As for now I think you can see where the bargain is. Similar Products Used: KLH cheapest model available. This product does support CD-Rs, not sure about CD-RWs as of yet. |
