Strength:
Durable, Reliable, Clean audio, & picture. Good value. DTD Dolby 5.1 support. svideo, optical spdif out
Weakness:
Doesn''t support newest formats (mp3, cdr, ect) No Coax output, Tracking artifact on ''rough'' cds Had this player for more than two years. It has served me very well. It plays DvDs that some of the newer DVD players will skip through. Have a couple complaints.. It has a wierd problem with scratched CDs.. It will speed up the tempo, or the speed of the tracking through rough areas on the CD.. Sounds great if you have Perfect CDs.. but I don''t always put mine away.. I had to buy a seperate CD player... Not a big deal. Also, this dvd player only has optical out.. Which is fine.. but I''ve been hearing that the Coax cable provides better sound quality.. I''ll never know with this player.. I am about to replace the player.. Due to its age, & in light of all new players supporting MP3, & CDRW playback, I think its time for a change.. If you get this one for the right price, You''ll prolly get a good deal of enjoyment out of it.. Similar Products Used: Much newer, slightly cheaper DvD players, Integra dvd players |
