Compact, easy to use. Good menu system. The player is years ahead of its time. The sound and picture quality surpass players costing twice the price. Good loading mechanism with solid casing and remote unit.

I bought the machine by chance. We compared it to several other makes in the same price category. The competition was destroyed by this superb piece of engineering. Have watched many movies and not one has skipped or had any problems playing. Well done Sanyo - an excellent product.

Compact, no heat problem, look's cool, never had a real proble with this unit....now own 35 DVD movies.

WILL NOT PLAY BURNNED VCD'S!

I picked up this baby by accident....went into Wal-Mart and spotted it....aparently it was not a regular item and only avaible at this one Wal-Mart...and there were no more left just the display. No cords, box, or manual....Picked it up for $125 !!! SERIOUSLY!!! I got the manual mailed from Sanyo Canada. Happy as a clam!

Amazing video/audio/features, and it just looks really damn cool!

Doesn't play ANY type of burned CD, I tried every CDR brand I could find and it still couldn't read the disk.

Oh my god I love this DVD player. I haven't had a single problem wit it at all, except not being able to play my burned CD's and movies on it. And it's really cheap too, considering what you get for $300! Just hard to find.
