Strength:
Sleek Design, 2 sets of audio and video RF out's along with s-video, and component out. Excellent OSD.
Weakness:
No Dolby Digital 5.1 Decoder. An excellent DVD player with easy to use remote control. Has excellent features and the picture quality is absolutely superb. It has co-axial and optical digital out for DD 5.1, DTS and MPEG, however it lacks a built in 5.1 channel decoder. THE VES (virtual Enhanced Surround) feature works excellent and is really neat if used with Dolby prologic or a simple stereo amplifier. A separate subwoofer output is also available which is useful if using it with only TV or older stereo amplifiers. Similar Products Used: Panasonic, Pioneer |

cost effective, user friendle on screen menus
Weakness:
does not read CD-R and some VCDs It is a stable product with an easy to operate romote. But if you intend to listen your recorded CDs you may be disappointed. I have many custom home made CD audio that I made from varios albums but I cant play them on this unit. no in built AC-3 decoder,doesn't read CD-R/CD-RW,poor error correction on audio CDs Great player for the tight budget,sleek and elegant look.i have connected to a technics integrated amp and onkyo speakers and akai tv, picture quality is good.it sounds good on stereo don't know about surround sound.easy to operate,remote is handy.
