Excellent package with DVD & TiVo! Great picture and sound! Low price for all that you get!

Slow to open DVD tray. A little slow when flipping through channels. You can hear TiVo updates being downloaded on hard drive.

This is a great product. You can manipulate live TV and there is no charge for TiVo basic! You only need one cable to hook up to your TV and one cable to hook up to your surround receiver for TiVo and DVD! For the price you can't beat it! I like the ability to pause TV for any reason or rewinding if you missed something. The sound is great for movies and the picture is superb. You don't have to set it up to record in best quality as normal is very clear. I hooked up a wireless USB adaptor and now it gets TiVo updates over the internet rather than the phone line. Only bad things I can think of is sometimes it takes a while for the DVD tray to open after you hit the eject button. When flipping between channels it's a little slower than if I was just using the TV by itself. And lastly you can here the hard drive when it's downloading it's TiVo updates.
