Toshiba has enhanced its line of DVD/VCR models. The SD-V592 features a 4-head HiFi VHS and a full featured DVD player offering Digital Cinema Progressive Scan (3/2 Pulldown), ColorStream Pro Component video outputs, MP3 and WMA playback, a JPEG viewer and 3D Virtual Surround Sound. The new SDV592 is the step-up model offering HDMI and video upconversion to 720p or 1080i and a universal glow remote control. Both models permit DVD playback while recording a TV broadcast on VHS.
