I also had my system for three years before it died. I loved it while it worked, but it started overheating, having problems with the DVD player, and then stopped working altogether after the warranty period. Boston replaced it for a small fee, but the new system had trouble with DVDs within a week and I gave up. When it works, it's great, but I decided not to risk any more money on a system that seems to have a design flaw. |

Purchased on 10/22/2005. It died by 11/30/2005. Had to send it back to factory for repair. Repaired and return to me by January 2006. It died again this week. One year warranty -- I am out of luck. If I want it repaired, I have to request an RMA from the factory, pay for shipping to the factory, and wait for an estimate for repair. You would think for the price you would get a little better reliability. Poor Equipment Reliability Customer Service The service tech I spoke with apologized, but that was about it. |
