Strength:

Very good sound for 16 years old machine (2003-2019), very powerful sound. Only DTS and Dolby Digital codecs accepted, anyway the major part of material is still playable. On board DVD is outdated, I'm using it only as CD player. I've got it connected to a Sony PS3 for gaming, streaming, and Bluray playing. I also have a Bluetooth receiver connected to the RCA input for streaming music from my mobile. All in all, with this confiuration it still is a very capable machine. Original speakers are not that big, so they are very easy to intall. They also have standar wiring, so no worries about that. Only the subwoofer has a special connection, it links the amplifier with the dvd player. It also has a radio receiver.

Weakness:

Only a 1 Toslink and 1 RCA input for expansion. No digital RCA available, so for recent HDMI and digital coaxial devices you will need an adapter to deal with it. Remote control is a little bit old fashioned, but who cares.
