Strength:
Haven't found any yet.
Weakness:
Who can tell if everything is connected and working properly? Bought this outfit because it seemed to have everything I wanted in a home theater system. The instruction booklet for connecting all the different components is a mess, though. My first two attempts at following the instructions for connecting a VCR and DVD to the receiver and to a TV didn't work for all the components, and so far, all I've got working is the TV to the receiver. And even at that, I'm not sure that is working correctly. The instruction book shows only one connection to a TV, and that one is only for one video in connection to the TV. All the rest you have to guess at. Why they would sell a system that is touted as a home theater system, and then not cover all the possible connections is a disservice to the buyer. And BestBuy wanted 270 dollars to come out and do the installation. If you're not an experienced audiophile, BEWARE |
