no digital fiber optic output on dvd player, owners manual is absolutely horrible, very difficult to set the system to play 5.1

Great system....definitely enough power for the average guy who wants some good sounding tunes. I upgraded the speaker wires and the audio interconnects... made a big difference. I would recommend this system to anyone.
