Strength:
Plenty of features for the price. Can drive 4 ohms for front, 6 ohms for the rest.
Weakness:
Remote control is not easy to use. This amplifier has the best value for price. It has a good number of useful features and I bought this amp compared to others primarily due to the price. The power of the amp is superb, the total wattage of the power supply is about 400W. Other amps at this price is only 220W. It can drive 4 ohms speakers as well. Some of the useful features that are: - Low Frequency Test for subwoofer placement. - Programmable Remote useful for controlling unpopular brands - Plenty of DSP modes for different moods - reconfigurable I/O - I reconfigured my DVD to use coaxial instead of optical - tuner (AM/FM) Similar Products Used: Pioneer VSX-D6 Sony STR-DE675 Reviewed : Denon 3703 |

Strength:
Power. Ease of use. Features. Price. Quality of construction.
Weakness:
Remote control- awkward placements. I originally wanted to purchase the Pioneer 43tx. I tend to listen to 70perc music and 30 home theater. So I did some research on the two receivers. After reading several reviews on the 1300, I decided to purchase it instead of the pioneer. I do not claim to be an expert by any means, but I do love music. The initial setup was ridiculously easy, except for the remote. The sound was very tight. There are tons of listening modes; which are fun for about an hour. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. (Becareful of purchases at 6th ave. Check them before you leave.)
