Strength:
Design, Ease of Use, Bass, Excellent for all home theater applications
Weakness:
Sound has a rather sharp feel, a system for this price should generally sound a bit warmer and more harmonic Everything comes in a single box including cables and a pre-programmed remote. I was listening to DVD's within 10 minutes of the system's arrival to my apartment. With two strong subwoofers, bass output is strong and dynamic. It is an excellent system for movies like the Matrix and Saving Private Ryan where audio effects are a key component in appreciating the film. The system is so easy to use with the LCD screened main unit and the unbelievable remote. My girlfried (who struggles with setting the time on our VCR) uses the system with ease and as she said, "It just looks so cool!" |

Strength:
While it took me a couple of hours to put together, it was not complicated and I got everything to work without having to switch plugs or cables. The sound is dynamic, with good bass from the two bass modules, and the front and rear speakers, while small are powerful.
Weakness:
You cannot replace a disc while another disc is playing; but I think this might be a good thing, as I had a 3-CD changer before this system and the CD mechanism fell apart after less than a year. Also, I couldn't initiate the main remote, so I had to take it to Harvey's where they did it for me. However, I was not the only idiot who couldn't figure this process out, as the salesman told he had to initiate the remote for two other customers. He agreed that the manual was very vague in explaining this process. But those are the only two points I can find to gripe about. A tremendous product that impresses every visitor who listens to it. It is a beautiful looking system, with a sleek and futuristic design, and I love the sound the CD changer makes when it is opening. The price is a little high, but the sound quality is excellent and it is very user friendly. It is a complete system, with a lot of potential for add-ons. I feel extrememly satisfied with this purchase and I've recommended it to other people. |
