Great low end VCR. Universal remote works with DSS satelite systems.

Not stereo. Remote will not work 100% with DSS satelite.

If you are not looking for a HiFi VCR, I would recommend this one. I looked at several VCR's before choosing this Panasonic. The only models I found around $100 were the very low end brands that most repair shops will not touch. Panasonic and RCA were the only brands in this price range that I would even consider. Panasonic's reputation and my previous satisfaction with other Panasonic products sold this one for me.
